Retail Meets Star Trek

For whatever reason, I’ve always equated a place of work with Star Trek. I’m sure I don’t need to explain further.

Ok, I’ll explain a bit. Like a new series of Star Trek, when you start a new job you meet the characters (or coworkers, if you will), understand the basic objectives (the job duties of the characters), and quickly figure out what is boring (routine daily tasks).

If all works out well, the characters will evolve and not be written out of the series.

All of that it to say that Tabby reminded me of Spock in the very first strip. She was based on real people, but Spock was there.
