I'm amazed at how casually you tossed off these drawings. If I started drawing something like this at 2:00 am, I'd still be working on it at 2:00 pm! Fun stuff!
Thank you! I used to say, back then, that the stuff I drew casually was much more appreciated than the stuff I spent hours drawing. I think, sometimes, the trick is not to care.
The last panel, if it had the wife/ mother off to the right and it was her saying " learn from your father's mistakes" , would be exactly how things were when I was little, we'd have to sneak into the house after camping or fixing the car/bike/sled because we would be both covered un gunk and never ever learned to put on overalls or clean our boots etc etc , drove her potty 😁
