I feel as though she's the embodiment of every retail worker reading your charming strip and rolling their eyes in silent identification with the madness of dealing with co-workers, management, and most importantly, the public. How old is she supposed to be? She has timeless wisdom. Oh, I forgot to mention that one of my favorite classes at University in the '70s was called Latin and Greek prefixes, suffixes, and roots. That course absolutely went into the *details* about English ten-dollar words.
